My friend Lauren

Lauren is from El Salvador, but lives in Mariposa with his parents and his very fat cat called Keiko. They live only ten minutes from my house. She is 19 and is studying at the University of San Diego. Has an older brother and he is in the Navy. I have known Lauren Twelve years ago, and now we work together during the summer. When she is fifteen years, I was a lady in her quinceanera and helped plan the event.

She was born in California, but he spoke English and English at home. She speaks English with his parents and relatives yet, but English too. In school we first, we can study groin s only. But in high school, she studied French and the second year of English grammar. is identified as a Salvadoran because she thinks it's a single citizenship and she is proud of its heritage. But because she is only half Salvadoran traditions like having the Americans and Salvadorans.

She prefers the term "Hispanic" over "Latino. & rdquo ; To her, is more comprehensive Hispanic Latino and includes all of the countries that speak English. But, she hates it when people called Mexican. It's stupid not to think that there are no other countries that speak English; is important to ask "Where are you from?" first. The traditions of his family are Christian events and, of course, food. She does not think that the traditions are different traditions Americans, but it's possible that's because she knows both.

The tradition family in particular is food. Especially during the Christmas holidays. The tradition is to make many tamales, too much to eat. Another favorite tradition Lauren is when a funeral, the family are together for three days before burial. She says it's comforting.

Other blogs

The first blog I read is the blog of Katia. The similarity of our lives called me attention. feasts that Katia spoke, it was very interesting and funny because the parties sound fun. my parents' rule is "where it is legal is legal" because when I'm in the countries where the rule for drinking alcohol was 16, I can drink. is important to know who is good and bad.

So Andrew's interest in the Hispanic arts caught my attention. is interesting that his trip to Mexico as a kid I had a big impression. We want to visit Mexico, but for different reasons. I see him I want to experience arts and culture in all respects.

In Carlita's blog I like the advice of a very good restaurant near our school. is a good idea to share the restaurants and fun places or good because it is information that everyone can use. And, because I have a hunger for burritos, tacos and chile rellenos, information is more important and appreciated.

James said of his travel to Mexico City as he did not have time to see everything you want to see. time I have the common problem when traveling. on my trip to Europe, my family and I visited many cities, but we did not have no time. Also, said that the atmosphere of Mexico City was like Europe. I like the atmosphere and now I want to visit Mexico City.

The first thing that caught my attention was the pictures of Papus and the people. Some photos always caught my attention for me, and especially photos displayed delicious food. Because food and your blog is from El Salvador, I remembered my friend from El Salvador and the food your mom made for me.

Spanish Language Blog

The summer after my seconded YEAR , or English class, my teacher, my class and I went to Costa Rica for ten days. I wanted to go to Costa Rica to surround me with the language and increase my ability to speak English. Of course, I wanted to have fun with my friends too. But, my vacation it teaches me more English because we have a tour guide who spoke English to us. However, I have so much fun!

One day, we went to Monte Verde to tour through the treetops. (Http://www.costaricantrails.com/espanol/tours/monteverde/canopy-atv-tour.html) We walk a lot and take a kayak near a volcano. We ate too much beans black chicken. Every day, sometimes twice a day I ate chicken and black beans. First, I want the beans all the time. They are very good and delicious! But in the end, I do not like beans and chicken. I like different methods for cooking food. The food of Costa Rica is different from the food of Mexico and El Salvador, but I like everything. In Costa Rica I drank more fresh juice. But the best chile relleno was cooked in a Salvadoran. It is clear that the food of the countries I visit are very important, right? :)

I love this holiday because of the activities and lunch. But now, I want to learn more English so I can go to countries English and communicate easily and naturally. I want to visit Spain (and possibly going to study there) and master the language for future work. I value the knowledge of other cultures. It is important to respect the demásy learn language is a way.
